Dog Designs and Extras

I ended up doing a page of dog related animals, focusing more on their initial character - using the initial shapes and pose to help out.

The second page is an exploration of temperament and style of the original well fed grumpy fellow.  Its very fun to take a base design to a more simple level with fewer lines, or search the effects of different posture and proportion.

Lastly, a few drawings out of my head - not the most original, but striving for a further feeling of tension or weight in the poses.
