Here are a couple more drawings - the stylized rats were inspired while looking through the art of Ratatouille, accompanied by the usual sketches.
The quick bug studies were done from a book on my desk, and made with one of the real bristle brushes in CS5. It's very effective in quickly building up tones and varying strokes in an organic way.

ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica. The bug ones were made in Photoshop actually but the rest was ink. I suppose the title was misleading given that I threw this in the end as well, oops.
