Hadn't worked on this one since I last posted it. Hopefully its coming together now, with some more rendering care due next time.. Any further critiques?
the color balance in the high-middle of the drawing is so slick! i almost feel as if the bottom end of the painting is wasted to some degree. but man what a great job!
it needs to be balanced out. i almost wish the flower monster was positioned more in the bottom corner so that the focus doesn't feel so clustered in the center. repositioning the flower would also create more flow and movement in the piece. i'm confused as to what the piece's story is because of the competition of the two main subjects.

ReplyDeleteAhhh ya the bottom adds description to the flying plant monster but otherwise...not that important. Damn. I wonder if that calls for a crop!?
