Watercolor pencil drawings...paintings

These were done with watercolor pencils, sketching to find the forms but also planning where to inject value at the same time before adding watercolor pencil.  Still difficult to wield, though these tools allow a lot of flexibility and expression, mixing line into paint and so fourth.

I experimented with some ink both before color application and after to bring back lost form edges after unwanted 'floods' of water or too much pigment.
